The Cammack Marshall Fund has been around — first as the Gertrude Cammack Fund, later as the Cammack Marshall Fund — for more than four decades. In those 40 years, the Fund has enriched the lives of more than 3,500 children helping to create many successes.

Here’s a small sampling of how the Fund has made a difference over the years:

Horse camp tuition provides a setting for an emotionally abused child to learn to connect on a physical and emotional level. Besides increased confidence and self-esteem, the child shows a willingness to trust more.

A computer for a sibling group enables them to research homework topics and type papers. The result is better grades, increased confidence and greater success at school.

Martial arts classes for a young boy help him develop confidence, discipline and self-esteem. The result: improved relationships with his family at home, and with friends and teachers at school.

Therapeutic counseling for a young girl with attachment disorder enables her to reach out emotionally, and to connect with her foster parents and siblings. The result is a happier home life for the entire family.

Orthodontic services correct health-threatening dental problems caused by a lack of regular dental care. The result: better self-esteem, more confidence and a tendency to smile more easily.

Summer camp tuition lets a child experience the fun, companionship and memory-making adventures of day and overnight camping.

Special occasion gifts, recognize important milestones. Dinner out to honor a graduate or a new family portrait to celebrate finalizing an adoption. These gifts create lasting memories.

Apartment rental deposits enable an emancipated, employed young person (usually 17 or 18 years of age) to set up his first home as an adult.

Surgical procedures repair serious physical disabilities,
such as a cleft palate. The result is a healthier, happier more confident child.
